Sergey Golovnev is the Managing Partner and a Loan Originator at First USA Mortgage Solutions, where he advises clients on structuring and executing residential and commercial financing. His approach is grounded in analytical rigor, discretion, and disciplined execution from intake through closing.

​

Prior to co-founding the firm, Sergey served as a Mergers & Acquisitions and Business Development Analyst at AVI-SPL, supporting the firm’s institutional M&A strategy across the Unified Communications and SaaS sectors. He evaluated acquisition targets, built and maintained trading and transaction comparables, and conducted valuation work supporting senior management’s strategic decisions, with exposure to both public and private markets.

He subsequently worked in federal consulting, leading business process analysis, impact analysis, and risk assessment engagements for several U.S. government agencies. This experience strengthened his ability to manage complex stakeholders, handle detailed documentation, and operate under strict compliance and quality standards.

Sergey graduated from New York University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business. He holds the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) designation and is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

At First USA Mortgage Solutions, Sergey leads day-to-day operations and serves as the primary point of contact for borrowers, realtors, and referral partners. He works closely with homeowners, investors, and business owners, delivering tailored financing solutions with a focus on efficiency, responsiveness, and clear communication.​
