Megan Polnet is the Managing Partner and a Loan Originator at First USA Mortgage Solutions, where she specializes in structuring and executing residential and commercial financing transactions. She brings an institutional real estate credit background and a capital markets-driven approach to advising clients across a range of lending scenarios.

Prior to co-founding First USA Mortgage Solutions, Megan was a Credit Investment Analyst at Starwood Property Trust, where she focused on credit analysis, underwriting, and portfolio management across a multi-billion-dollar commercial real estate platform. Her experience included evaluating asset-level performance, underwriting loans across asset classes, and supporting investment decisions tied to CMBS and balance sheet lending strategies.

Earlier in her career, Megan gained acquisition and asset management experience at Coastal Ridge Real Estate, where she was involved in underwriting and executing multifamily and student housing investments, as well as preparing investment committee materials and supporting portfolio strategy.

Megan graduated from Cornell University in 2023, earning a Bachelor of Science from the Cornell Nolan School of Hotel Administration with a minor in Real Estate. Her academic and professional experience is rooted in real estate finance, investment analysis, and structured lending.
